Today is my parents 59th wedding anniversary and as we celebrate I reflect on the choices I made inside my marriage that were based on the belief systems they taught me. Unbeknownst to them, their unresolved marital issues had lingered inside my own heart. They did not and still don’t have the tools to heal their own hearts and minds, but they are in sync with their lack of spirituality and growth.
