Today is my parents 59th wedding anniversary and as we celebrate I reflect on the choices I made inside my marriage that were based on the belief systems they taught me. Unbeknownst to them, their unresolved marital issues had lingered inside my own heart. They did not and still don’t have the tools to heal their own hearts and minds, but they are in sync with their lack of spirituality and growth. I was one of the fortunate ones. During my divorce, I was in kundalini yoga teacher training and had 15 years experience as a yogi, meditator and servant to god. OKAY, so you may not have my tools yet, and if you are too involved with someone to break free from them nor do you want to, see them as whole and pure and they will begin to shift into wholeness. This takes commitment and consciousness but it can be done folks.
