After divorce I found myself in a very strange place. The kids and I were living in a heavily populated orthodox area where I no longer fit in. Money was scarce as I totally let go of our business and I had this big mortgage to pay for. The balancing act between building my dwindling faith would lead me to despair, desolation, teetering on wreckless abandon. The kids had to switch from yeshiva to a HUGE public school. I knew in my heart that god was somewhere and that I was better off without my spouse of 21 years. God showed up inside me as new people walked me through my stuff, little by little I restored my faith which I am still uncomfortable with the ultimate accomplishment. For I am too edgy, I thought, to become a Holistic Rabbi. I tell you this, my client, to show that I have felt your pain, indeed I have. My prayer for you is that you are able to balance your likes and dislikes on your post divorce journey and know that you are loved by me. And know that a spiritual divorce is yours if you let it be! Happy Anniversary

Today is my parents 59th wedding anniversary and as we celebrate I reflect on the choices I made inside my marriage that were based on the belief systems they taught me. Unbeknownst to them, their unresolved marital issues had lingered inside my own heart. They did not and still don’t have the tools to heal their own hearts and minds, but they are in sync with their lack of spirituality and growth. By using my holistic coaching & healing, you will learn how to embrace the conditioning and the belief systems of your parents in a way that works for your new life, rather than against it. You can be free from the past, once you achieve a peaceful heart.

Peaceful Heart Awakening

After divorce is a time where an opening of hearts to a greater consciousness within ourselves is possible.

Spiritual teachers have always pointed to the heart as the seat of consciousness, and recently Western science has found evidence to support this realization. It turns out that the heart has its own central nervous system and is not simply under the rule of the brain as formerly believed. Anyone who has taken the time to explore the heart knows this and, more important, has realized that the heart is the source of our connection to a consciousness greater than the ego. Approaching life with an open heart means that we have opened the door to this greater consciousness, taking up residence alongside it in the seat of our soul. Fortunately, at this time there is a lot of support for this shift energetically as well as practically. To some degree, approaching life with an open heart is as simple as shifting your attention onto your heart.

Eventually you will be able do this any time, any place, but at first it may help to try it in a quiet place where you won’t be disturbed. Simply sit with your eyes closed and draw your breath into your heart. As your breath expands your chest cavity, your heart expands and opens. You may feel tenderness or sadness in your heart, and you may also feel relief. Any emotions that arise can be effectively witnessed and healed through the meditation process, which benefits both your physical heart and your energetic heart. The more you practice, the more you will find your heart opening to your own presence and to all the situations your life brings.

When we open our hearts, they may feel tender and vulnerable, which simply means that they need our loving attention as we cleanse and heal them of past hurts and blockages. This process asks us to practice some of the heart’s greatest lessons—patience, compassion, and unconditional love. On the other hand, we may take up residence as effortlessly as a bird returns to its nest. Either way, approaching life with an open heart simply means returning to our true home.

Private coaching is the best way for you to be SURE you are on the right path. Clearing out the OLD behavior patterns and fears takes time and energy. Consider your private session as the time to express feelings and thoughts that are controlling your behavior, some of which appear to be bad or negative. Private sessions address all concerns about SELF (physically, energetically, emotionally, and spiritually)

If you are truly ready to create devotion rather than commotion in your new life, then you will need these sessions. Sometimes we end up meditating together on your dreams, sometimes you need to have an empathetic ear who can direct you to better choices and sometimes you need to feel the healing effects of private healing session with me. Private sessions will eventually rid you of the tumultuous emotions and mental processes that go along with post divorce life.
